Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle monthly and quarterly financial close process with precision and accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow Reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts monthly.
- Assist in the annual external audit process and coordinate with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing variance analysis and financial modeling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks).
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders effectively.
