Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and internal controls.
- Oversee the payroll function and ensure accurate benefits administration for employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proven proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
