Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring accurate classification and reconciliation of accounts.
- Conduct internal audits and assist external auditors during annual reviews.
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Assist in the budget preparation process and provide variance analysis to management.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and oversee accounts payable and receivable workflows.
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, tax laws, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
