Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct internal audits and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve them efficiently.
- Support external auditors during annual audits and tax filings.
- Monitor cash flow and provide financial reporting to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate is highly preferred.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of tax regulations and financial compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
