Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide strategic insights to leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls while implementing process improvements
- Lead audit preparations and coordinate with external auditors
- Maintain accurate general ledger and financial documentation systems
- Develop and implement budget forecasting models
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance
- Proven experience with financial analysis and reporting tools
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with competing priorities
