Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes efficiently and accurately.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide detailed explanations of financial discrepancies to management.
- Assist with external audits and coordinate with auditors to ensure a smooth process.
- Streamline accounting processes and implement best practices to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proven experience with financial reporting software (SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
