Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict compliance with GAAP.
- Assist in the annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Ensure accuracy of financial data through regular bank and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Support the external audit process and prepare necessary tax documentation.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee financial records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus).
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or professional services environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and internal controls.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
