Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, month-end closes, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements with variance explanations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and bank reconciliations
- Lead audit coordination with external partners and regulatory compliance
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Implement process improvements using accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite)
- Mentor junior staff and cross-departmental financial training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience with public or corporate sector
- Advanced proficiency in GAAP/IFRS and tax compliance frameworks
- Expertise in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (NetSuite a plus)
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines with 100% accuracy
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation experience
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder reporting
