- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing for diverse client portfolios
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Ensure adherence to federal/state tax regulations and grant reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with government/non-profit exposure
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal grant accounting and OMB Circular requirements
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines in high-pressure environments
