Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead GAAP-compliant financial statement preparation for diverse client portfolios
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow optimization
- Conduct internal audits and implement robust internal controls
- Collaborate with tax specialists to ensure compliance with state/federal regulations
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/MBA strongly preferred
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Demonstrated expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial analysis
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills for client/stakeholder interactions
