Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and journal entries
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with variance commentary
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews and audits
- Provide financial modeling and forecasting support for strategic decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel (including PivotTables)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
- Experience managing accounting teams or interns
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments
