Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead accounts payable/receivable operations with 50+ transactions daily
- Develop and maintain internal financial controls and procedures
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives for executive leadership
- Optimize financial systems for efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel with VBA
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
- Proven experience with financial reporting and analysis
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
