Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger functions, including accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and implement control procedures to safeguard company assets.
- Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate salary calculations and deductions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
- Prepare detailed reports for management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or currently pursuing CPA certification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
