Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow statements, in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee general ledger activities, including account reconciliations and troubleshooting discrepancies.
- Assist in the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors and providing requested documentation.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing data analysis and variance reports.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
