As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization. Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Perform complex account reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and supporting documentation for external auditors.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide training on accounting software and best practices.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor the annual budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel (Advanced).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
