Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Assist in the budgeting process and provide forecasting support to management.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely collections and payments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a significant plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
