As the financial backbone of our operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger accounts, perform reconciliations, and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- CPA certification or CMA designation is highly preferred.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in general accounting and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
