Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with actionable insights for stakeholders
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable workflows and cash flow optimization
- Lead audit preparation and compliance documentation for SOX requirements
- Develop financial models and variance analysis for strategic decision-making
- Maintain accurate fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and cost controls
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel modeling
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and tax regulations
- Proven ability to lead financial audits and process improvements
