Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead financial reporting for executive stakeholders and regulatory compliance
- Optimize accounting systems to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and financial controls
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
