Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes and financial statement preparation
- Lead internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Analyze financial data trends to inform strategic business decisions
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing for 200+ employees
- Develop and implement process improvements using advanced Excel modeling and ERP systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Mentor junior accountants while maintaining 99.7% transactional accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive experience in public accounting or corporate finance
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (VBA a plus)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Proven track record of optimizing financial processes and reducing costs
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing accounting teams
