Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure the accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and payments.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize budget forecasting and cash flow management.
- Maintain internal controls and internal audit processes to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or high-growth environment.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks).
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
