Responsibilities
- Manage complex general ledger operations and monthly/quarterly close processes
- Lead financial statement preparation and analysis for executive stakeholders
- Oversee compliance with GAAP, SOX, and regulatory requirements
- Develop and optimize accounting systems for efficiency and accuracy
- Coordinate internal/external audits and tax preparation activities
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvement initiatives
- Support budget forecasting and strategic financial modeling
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/corporate settings
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems
- Proven track record in process optimization and team leadership
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication abilities for cross-functional collaboration
