In this strategic role, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial integrity of the organization, ensuring strict compliance with GAAP, and driving value through detailed financial analysis.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including full-cycle accounts payable and receivable reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with US GAAP standards.
- Oversee the annual external audit process, coordinating with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns, ensuring full regulatory compliance.
- Conduct variance analysis and present insightful financial reports to senior management and the board.
- Develop, maintain, and improve internal controls and financial policies to safeguard company assets.
- Leverage financial software to streamline reporting processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating complex data for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
