Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end/year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and reporting systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Conduct audits and ensure regulatory compliance for SEC filings
- Mentor junior accountants and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel with VBA
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
