Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for SaaS and tech startups
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements and compliance reports
- Lead month-end/quarter-end closing processes with SOX compliance
- Develop financial models and forecasting for high-growth companies
- Collaborate with CFOs on strategic financial planning initiatives
- Maintain GAAP compliance and implement new accounting standards
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance + CPA license required
- 5+ years public accounting or tech finance experience
- Expertise in SaaS revenue recognition (ASC 606) and equity accounting
- Advanced Excel modeling and QuickBooks Enterprise proficiency
- Strong understanding of California tax regulations and payroll compliance
- Certifications in tech accounting (e.g., Oracle NetSuite) preferred
- Proven ability to manage complex financial audits
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
