Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis to senior leadership.
- Oversee internal and external audit preparations, ensuring all documentation is complete and organized.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and automation tools.
- Review and approve journal entries to ensure accuracy and integrity of data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is a significant plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or technology environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.
