Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage general ledger functions, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Assist in the preparation of federal and state tax returns and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide detailed financial insights to management.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
