Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries and reconciliations are accurate and timely.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Supervise the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including vendor management and client billing.
- Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and financial reports for executive leadership.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the annual tax filing process.
- Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate with the external audit team during year-end reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
