Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L).
- Manage general ledger accounts and perform month-end and year-end close procedures accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and conduct variance analysis against actuals.
- Support external and internal audit requirements by providing necessary documentation and schedules.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and perform depreciation calculations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
