Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger entries and month-end close procedures.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and budget forecasts for executive leadership.
- Perform comprehensive bank reconciliations and inter-company account reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings and external audits.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collection.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is a plus but not mandatory.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data clearly.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
