Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close processes and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead audit processes and maintain internal controls documentation
- Develop financial models for forecasting and variance analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and strategic planning
- Implement process improvements using ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Mentor junior accountants and oversee financial reporting accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in financial reporting and auditing standards (GAAP/IFRS)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Proven ability to lead complex accounting projects
