Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and quarter-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare accurate financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls across all financial operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve financial discrepancies
- Maintain and optimize accounting systems for efficiency
- Support external audits and regulatory reporting requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines in high-pressure environments
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and reporting
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Available to work flexible night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
