Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting cycles for UK client portfolio
- Prepare and analyse complex financial statements compliant with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Lead VAT returns, payroll processing, and corporation tax submissions for UK entities
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls for financial data security
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive strategic financial decision-making
- Mentor junior accountants and support continuous process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent UK accounting certification
- Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in UK accounting practices
- Expert knowledge of UK tax legislation, including Making Tax Digital compliance
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage accounting software
- Demonstrable experience with multi-currency transactions and international accounting
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities for stakeholder reporting and client management
