Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement
- Prepare and audit financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure financial data integrity
- Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with Big 4 or public company background
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks) and MS Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, audit preparation, and compliance
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Proven track record of process optimization and cost reduction initiatives
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to present financial information to stakeholders
