Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) for stakeholders
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize working capital
- Lead internal control audits and SOX compliance documentation
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and financial planning
- Maintain compliance with tax regulations and filing requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate environments
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Proven track record of improving financial processes in remote settings
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for virtual collaboration
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance a plus
