Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and maintain accurate balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and audits
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Lead process optimization initiatives for accounting workflows
- Maintain relationships with auditors and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with financial reporting and month-end close processes
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
