Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Perform complex general ledger reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure financial integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations and internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits of financial records to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and tax compliance requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial data to stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid work environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
