Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Manage full-cycle accounting for high-volume transaction portfolios
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes with precision
- Develop and implement internal controls for financial systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Conduct complex reconciliations for multi-entity operations
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Proven ability to manage SOX compliance audits
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with remote team collaboration tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- California CPA license required
