Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with executive-level insights
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes including reconciliations
- Manage SOX compliance documentation and internal audit coordination
- Develop and implement process improvements for accounting workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting
- Maintain fixed asset ledger and depreciation schedules
- Ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite)
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance (OH/TX focus)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven ability to lead accounting projects independently
- Remote work experience and self-motivation
