Responsibilities
- Lead month-end close processes and financial statement preparation
- Manage complex reconciliations for multi-entity accounting systems
- Develop and implement internal controls for SOX compliance
- Analyze variance reports and provide strategic financial insights
- Coordinate audits with external CPA firms
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
- Optimize financial workflows using Oracle NetSuite
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance + 5+ years progressive experience
- CPA certification required (active license)
- Expertise in GAAP and multi-state tax regulations (CA/NC focus)
- Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, macros)
- Oracle NetSuite implementation experience preferred
- Proven track record in process improvement
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Remote work experience required
