Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Manage month-end/year-end close processes with journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead tax preparation, planning, and compliance for corporate clients
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain and optimize accounting systems (QuickBooks, Sage) for seamless data management
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and month-end closes
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for client/stakeholder collaboration
- Experience in remote work environments with self-discipline
