Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage complex month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Lead internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry regulations
- Develop and implement financial controls to mitigate risks and improve operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives
- Maintain and optimize accounting systems, with emphasis on ERP software integration
- Provide insightful financial analysis to support executive decision-making and business growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA strongly preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ in a senior role
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP)
- Proven experience with month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial audits
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all financial reporting
- Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams
