Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger entries and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for stakeholders.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and expense audits to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Review and approve accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
