Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with variance reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely payment cycles
- Coordinate internal and external audits, implementing corrective actions as needed
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain and optimize accounting systems for accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with 2+ years in senior roles
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or equivalent ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling
- Proven track record of managing month-end close and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
