Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with US GAAP.
- Manage general ledger functions, including complex reconciliations and journal entries.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide variance analysis to senior management.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Conduct internal audits and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required; CPA or CMA certification is a strong plus.
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and current tax regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
