- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and California state tax regulations
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead audits and prepare documentation for external examinations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar accounting software
- Expertise in financial statement preparation and variance analysis
- Strong understanding of tax compliance for California-based businesses
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
