Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist with tax preparation, filings, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Perform variance analysis to provide actionable insights to the finance leadership team.
- Maintain and update internal financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- CPA certification is highly preferred; CMA is a plus.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working independently in a remote work environment.
