Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP
- Manage general ledger operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and regulatory reporting requirements
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online and other accounting software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 2+ years in remote/hybrid settings
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, tax compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Experience managing month-end close processes and financial audits
- Excellent communication skills for remote stakeholder collaboration
- Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality and data security protocols
