Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee general ledger accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Conduct monthly variance analysis and internal audits to ensure data integrity and compliance.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure full compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial processes to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial insights and support business decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Proven proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present complex financial data to stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
