Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Lead month-end closing processes with reconciliation of 20+ balance sheet accounts
- Develop and implement financial forecasting models for strategic decision-making
- Manage audit processes and coordinate with external auditors
- Design internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Mentor junior accountants through our peer development program
- Leverage ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) for financial reporting automation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance + CPA certification (required)
- 7+ years progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in financial reporting standards (IFRS/GAAP)
- Advanced Excel skills with Power Query/VBA proficiency
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Proven track record in process improvement initiatives
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Remote work experience with self-management capabilities
